David Heath
PRINCIPAL
Prior to starting Lookout Solutions, David served as CFO of Transportation Impact, a technology-enabled supply chain logistics consulting company. Also, David has served as CFO of a vertically integrated international agricultural investment firm, and earlier in his career, served in various financial management positions at Credit Suisse. He began his career as a consultant at Deloitte serving multinational asset management and banking entities.
He has served on the board of various operating companies from start-ups to marketplace companies providing financial expertise through growth and acquisition. He has also advised on the fundraising and exit process for owners seeking additional liquidity.
He has enjoyed serving on the board of various non-profits including the Boys and Girls Club of Wake County and the Coastal Plains, the Triangle YMCA (finance committee), and the local Boys Scouts of America.
David graduated with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration and a Master’s in Accounting from the University of North Carolina - Wilmington and is a licensed CPA in North Carolina.
David has been married for 23 years to the love of his life. He is most happy when he is on the boat with her and his 4 boys along the shores of Cape Lookout.
